Patrick Major is a native of Las Vegas, and began his professional career as a musician at the age of 14. Soon thereafter, he visited Lake Tahoe, fell in love with the natural beauty and lifestyle of the area and has lived and performed here for over 40 years. He moved to Maui in 2001 and spent six magical years enjoying all that Hawaii has to offer, including a very successful career as a solo acoustic guitar player and singer and drummer for various bands. Additionally, he has traveled around the globe with several groups, allowing him to expand his repertoire and experience.
While living in Lake Tahoe, his powerful vocals earned him the Lake Tahoe’s Best Male Vocalist award. Upon arriving in Maui, he pursued his dream of songwriting and consequently, recorded two well received CD’s, Odd Jobs and a live recording, Live at Lahaina Coolers. Some of his well known venues include Maui’s Tommy Bahama’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Princess Cruise Lines, and Lake Tahoe’s Sierra Cloud cruises, Squaw Creek, Fresh Ketch and many, many more!
Initially studying and performing as a drummer for many years, he then strived to accomplish the acoustic guitar, and with his natural talent, has been a favorite of many audiences with his engaging voice and instrumentals.
Patrick’s style includes his own mix of original guitar and vocals combined with rock classics from the last four decades. Whether playing tunes from James Taylor to Dave Matthews, or his own compositions, he displays an unequaled emotion with all.
The diversity Patrick offers with his talents allows him to be available for any event or function. Large or small, the venue will appreciate his ability to offer a unique entertainment experience, and he is always ready and willing to accommodate your particular needs.
